Dear fellow San Mateo County residents,
I’ve served our community for 30 years. I am a Superior Court Commissioner, a wife, and mother of an 11-year-old daughter.
I began my legal career as a Deputy District Attorney, worked in a small law firm, and later went into private practice handling civil matters including family law, probate, and personal injury cases.
For the past 14 years, I have served as a Superior Court Commissioner and have decided thousands of cases: misdemeanors, felonies including drug court, traffic, family law, domestic violence, and child support issues. People tell me my courtroom is fair, humane, and compassionate.
I have reduced the backlog of cases as a Commissioner, and as Judge, I’ll work to bring more technology into our courtrooms, and reduce backlogs and costs further.
As an attorney, I have served on both sides of the courtroom as a prosecutor and defense counsel, and as a Court Commissioner have carefully considered the facts and made fair judgments by interpreting the letter of the law.
I promise to treat each case fairly on the merits and have the experience to serve as a judge.
I would be honored to have your vote.
